HP Tuners GM E41 ECM Upgrade Kit for 2017–2023 Duramax L5P / L5D

The HP Tuners GM E41 ECM Upgrade Kit is required for supported 2017–2023 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 models with the 6.6L Duramax engine. It is intended for L5P and L5D applications with the E41 ECM and enables the required ECM upgrade process for read, write and special functions in VCM Suite.

With this kit, the E41 ECM can be upgraded directly in the vehicle without removing the control module from the truck. This helps avoid the risk of damaging tabs or connectors during removal or reinstallation. Depending on the application, the upgrade process can be completed in a short amount of time.

A compatible HP Tuners interface is required for use. This kit is compatible with MPVI2+ interfaces with Pro Feature Set and with MPVI3 interfaces. MPVI and standard MPVI2 interfaces are not compatible with this kit.

After the ECM upgrade has been completed, supported functions such as diagnostics, data logging, reading, editing and writing calibrations are available through the VCM Suite. According to HP Tuners, no IMMO relearn, crank relearn or “Replace ECM” function is required when using this kit.

Important: An E41 ECM upgrade is required for tuning supported 2017–2023 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 6.6L Duramax L5P and L5D applications. Each vehicle must also be licensed with 6 HP Tuners Universal Credits during the upgrade process. Universal Credits are not included with this kit and must be purchased separately.

In the box: The kit includes an HPTNet cable, an upgrade box and an upgrade cable.
