The HP Tuners OBDII Adapter Cable for Yamaha Outboard 44-Pin ECU Style 2 is required for supported Yamaha outboard engines with a 44-pin ECU connector, Style 2. It connects a compatible HP Tuners interface to the Yamaha marine ECM for calibration writing functions.
This cable is intended for professional tuners, marine technicians and experienced users who want to work on supported Yamaha marine applications with the VCM Suite. It provides a direct connection to the supported Yamaha ECM and enables communication during the calibration writing process.
The cable includes integrated battery alligator clips to provide stable external power to the ECM during the writing process. This is required for marine applications because the engine must remain off while the calibration is being written.
Important: This cable is intended for calibration writing only. It is not designed for diagnostics, scanning or data logging. For diagnostics and data monitoring, the Yamaha Marine 3-Pin Diagnostic Cable is required.
This cable is intended for Yamaha outboard engines with a 44-pin ECU connector, Style 2. Please verify your engine’s ECU connector type before purchasing.
