VCM Suite, Data Logging & Tuning Software

With the HP Tuners VCM Suite, the MPVI4 interface becomes a professional tool for diagnostics, data logging and control module calibration.

VCM Editor and VCM Scanner form the core of the HP Tuners software ecosystem. Depending on the vehicle and control module, additional Universal Credits, cables, adapters or unlocks may be required.

VCM Editor

VCM Editor is the calibration editing software from HP Tuners. It allows supported control module files to be opened, analysed, modified and written back to the vehicle.

Depending on the vehicle, available parameters may include ignition, fuel, torque models, boost control, RPM limiters, speed limiters, diagnostic trouble codes and many other calibration tables.

VCM Scanner

VCM Scanner is the diagnostics and data logging tool within the VCM Suite. Together with the MPVI4 interface, it can display, record and analyse vehicle data in real time.

Good data logging is essential for proper vehicle calibration. Values such as ignition timing, knock activity, lambda values, fuel trims, temperatures, load, torque and many other channels help make changes traceable and controlled.

Read, Write and Virtual Read

Many supported vehicles allow the control module file to be read directly via OBD and written back after editing.

Some control modules cannot be read directly via OBD because this function is not provided by the manufacturer. In these cases, HP Tuners may use a so-called Virtual Read. Based on the software information, a matching original file is provided, which can then be edited and flashed to the vehicle.

RaceRender & TrackAddict

RaceRender and TrackAddict extend the HP Tuners ecosystem with video, GPS and track-day functionality. These applications are especially useful when vehicle data, video footage and lap information should be combined and displayed together.

For professional vehicle calibration, however, the main focus remains the combination of MPVI4, VCM Editor, VCM Scanner and the required Universal Credits.

Important before purchase

HP Tuners software is powerful, but available functions always depend on the vehicle, control module, model year, software version and official vehicle support.

Please check vehicle support and the required number of Universal Credits before purchase. Some control modules may also require additional cables, adapters or unlocks.
